Creation of new issues in ExtraView may trigger the creation of new Perforce jobs. Perforce job creation can be conditional upon the selection of a configurable field value in ExtraView. Alternatively, new ExtraView Issues may be linked to existing jobs in Perforce.

The user may specify a job name, or allow EVP4 to assign a job name that indicates the ExtraView issue ID.

Within seconds, a corresponding job is created within Perforce. The job contains a hot link where a single click (in most Perforce clients) will open the issue for edit in ExtraView.
