Column Reports are Custom Reports that allow the user to pick which fields he or she wants to see to display the results in a tabular form.

For example, the QA manager may want to run a report that shows all of the issues awaiting testing.

Once a report has been prepared it can be stored to run in the future. The results can be sorted by any field with a single click of the mouse. With permission, users can take any result set and apply a mass update to change all records in a report - for example to reassign all open issues to a different engineer.
